Unconditional Love

 UNCONDITIONAL LOVE

Unless one can surrender most of one’s ego -
Needing to release own desires as being paramount
Centering needs outward instead of inward, love
On the physical and the spiritual is
Near to impossible to obtain.
Dearest wishes on the sensual level involve falling
In love - is a temporary state unless it moves into
Total love of another, accepting all their foibles,
Including disgusting habits (your opinion)
Only God’s type of love - a commitment to value
Not only in good times but also in the bad, sad,
And bored times will unconditional love survive
Lasting a lifetime into eternity.
Love from God is an everlasting deal; it
Only has one catch, mankind was given free will
Victory in learning love in action involves
Each to surrender - love is an act, not an emotion.
