 SUNSHINE AND STORMS

Sweet, glorious, sun-kissed happiness
Understands the heights of joyfulness
Noon repast, laid with expectation
Soon to receive a long forgotten flirtation
Honey mine woman borne four precious alive
In and out the years grew apart yet children thrived
Notions of apart but still near, to cosset and care
Eventually brings heartbreaks, tears, and despair.
Angels descend and instruct repentance
Nigh the time approaches that brings
Damnation or Salvation
Salvation sounds strongly and
Trysts only if sanctified difficult
Options grow narrow as calling
Rises more clamorous
Mounting a fever of favor
Surmounting worldly lusts

Where countries take up arms to fight instead of thinking of their children and their elders in peril.
