My Naughty Kindle

 MY NAUGHTY KINDLE

I like technology, really I do
I worked with it for years, more than a few
Others I trained while fear was on the younger
But I have always gone when there has been no other
I only like phones if I need to call or a friend rings me
The mobiles are great because I am not tied, but walk free
However, however, however,
A Mobile along throws me into a never
Want this leash on my time
When I go freedom is my design
Now my Naughty Kindle is another thing
In bygone days was a joy to bring
It had books and books and books galore
I had no need to wander in and out a store
Always a passenger never a driver
Gave me the time to read, to savor
But my Naughty Kindle a gift from a son
Burdens me down with more work to be done.
But that is not the reason for this display
No, no, no, no, there is more to this dismay
I know my New York accent throws some off
But voice to text doesn't try to match, just scoff
And when I tell what the naughty Kindle does
It types my words until it is the reveal,it gives fuzz
I think there is a Bot or two that has arthritic joints
and like a cantankerous personality it decides to point
how ludicrous it finds my ordinary chatter
Revamps my statements and writes splatter
A story line with no matter or reason
Rhyme not a chance, and auto-correct not even.
