Ah, it is precious; it is
Bare. What shall I dare?
Lovely words capture
A fleeting mention of the rapture
Nesting in a heart forgotten
Knowing fire still is trodden
Perhaps better used to draw
Animals dumped, extending a paw
Gaping jaw salivating at bones tendered
Envisioning they just stepped into heaven
