Last Night


Lost in thought on a new life

As soon as I rid of shoe strife

Shoes to pretend I am tall

Twirling too fast, my downfall


Nonetheless, tomorrow's the day.

In a powder blue suit, my face gay

Going into a new adventure, wedded

Honoring tradition though bedded

Too soon, but thankfully, the right groom.
